Preschool
Our Preschool Program, 3 year olds and 4 year olds, runs from 8:15 to 11:45, with before school and after school programs available to those who need it.
Our preschool program is unit based, allowing for our young students to have lots of fun while learning. Each week we learn about a different unit, letter, shape, color, number, and we continue to talk about these topics throughout the year to ensure lots of learning of those early skills. We have a great focus on early literacy, through books, bible verses, poems, songs, and bible stories.
We focus on those early fine-motor and gross-motor skills to help them grow as young learners, and establish a healthy attitude towards learning to help them in older grades. We spend a lot of time painting, and playing with play-doh, as well as tracing, coloring, and cutting with scissors to build those fine-motor skills, and throwing a ball, running, hopping and skipping to build those gross-motor skills, as well as many different unit activities to help our young students grow to love learning.
We also ensure that your young students get proper social-emotional learning that is developmentally appropriate at this age. We focus on how to talk kindly to our friends, and share our toys, and how to be responsible and take care of their classroom.
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten program runs from 8:15 to 2:00, with before school and after school programs available to those who need it. Early release is 1:00 on Wednesdays.
Our Kindergarten program uses a combination of Foresman-Wesley and Abeka Curriculum. Our curriculum, like preschool is unit based, but is literacy based, offering creative opportunities to enhance their learning. Through our units we have a strong reading foundation, which helps our students "think like a reader", putting in place a foundation that will help them in later grades.
We offer many different learning styles for your students to learn in the ways that work best for them. Whether it be hands-on, collaboratively, one-on-one or something else, we guarantee your students will learn.
Our curriculum is strong, but we also allow for them to thrive and grow in a bible-based atmosphere. We lay a strong biblical foundation, and let them grow as friends, and let them explore our awesome God-created world.
Elementary
Our Elementary Program, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade, runs from 8:15 to 3:00, with before school and after school programs available to those who need it. Early release is 2:00 on Wednesdays.
Our Elementary program uses Abeka curriculum which allows opportunities for students to grow academically, with a Christian foundation. Abeka curriculum has been researched and proven to teach students with different learning styles and abilities.
Our small classroom sizes allow for an individualized approach for your child's education, allowing them to make great strides in their learning, and also allows for them to learn about topics they are interested in. We allow time for them to grow creatively through music, art, and others, because we believe that is foundational to their learning as well.
We have a strong core curriculum to build from, that is proven strong with our young learners, and a strong support staff of instructional aide's to provide even further support to their learning, building strong academic students.
